Fergus Jr. High School Flycasting Class

For more than ten years SMTU has given a one day fly casting class at Fergus Jr. H.S.    SMTU has taught the class, and has donated needed  equipment and funds in support.

MT Trout Unlimited Youth Conservation Camp

Each June MTU offers its Youth Conservation Camp, normally a five day affair at Georgetown Reservoir or more recently Day Clinics, which introduces young people to fly fishing, freshwater ecology and hydrology.   SMTU annually offers two scholarships to two Central Montana youths.
